Hi, Scuba Diver!
We are delighted to introduce Sundari Voyages, our newly built wooden phinisi perfect for diving & leisure (non-diving) liveaboard trip in Komodo National Park.
Crafted in the world-renowned boatbuilding village of Bira, Bulukumba, her hull was completed in 2024, and she is proudly set to sail in 2025. Measuring 34 meters in length and 6.5 meters in width, Sundari blends the timeless tradition of Indonesian craftsmanship with modern comfort and style.
The name Sundari, meaning “Beautiful” in Sanskrit, reflects her essence and is gracefully embodied in her main logo. Every detail of her design has been carefully considered to ensure a seamless balance of elegance, functionality, and comfort for life at sea.
Archipelago Dive Reserve is excited to introduce a new series of collaboration trips designed for divers who want more than just time underwater, aboard our one and only dive boat, Sundari Voyages.
We have collaboration with experienced underwater photographers, videographers, filmmakers, brand ambassadors, marine biologists, and expedition leaders to create immersive diving photography expeditions. These trips combine exploration, education, and storytelling, allowing guests to dive alongside professionals while gaining a deeper, practical understanding of marine life and wildlife behavior.
Our approach to wildlife interaction is practical and responsible, focusing on observation, awareness, and respect for the natural environment. Guests learn how to engage with marine life ethically, both underwater and on land, enhancing the overall expedition experience.
Each trip includes land excursions to Komodo National Park’s most iconic destinations, including Padar Island, Komodo Island, and Pink Beach. To complete the journey with purpose, the final day features a beach clean-up activity, giving guests the opportunity to actively contribute to ocean and coastal conservation.
Diving with purpose and real impact is at the heart of every expedition. Underwater or beach clean-up activities are part of each trip, ensuring guests not only explore one of the world’s top dive destinations but also help protect it.
By choosing Archipelago Dive Reserve, you directly support the local community. One percent of every booking is allocated to free scuba diving programs for selected local students under the age of 22, in collaboration with P3Kom (Professional Divers Community of Komodo). This initiative opens access to the underwater world and inspires long-term stewardship of the marine environment.
Hands-on leadership, always onboard. This isn’t a remotely managed trip. Our director personally joins every journey, welcomes guests onboard, and remains actively involved throughout the expedition. From dive operations to guest comfort, every detail is carefully checked, handled, and cared for.
As part of this collaboration, guests receive a special benefit. Book your trip using a collaborator’s name and enjoy 10% off your experience. Each collaboration offers a unique perspective, making every trip a one-of-a-kind adventure. Send us a message to receive the unique code for your favorite collaborator.
